• STEMbotics is proud to offer our Winter 2020 STEMbotics Story Builder after school program.

• Each class will consist of a read aloud of a Folktale (10 min) with discussion of story elements.

​

• Followed by a clear building objective related to the story. (20 min)

​

• Provide opportunity for students to re-enact story with own building creation and/or props for play acting. (10 min)

​

• Extension of story involving the use of technology.  Students will use IPad drawing pad to either illustrate setting, devise alternate ending or record self-retelling story. (10 - 15 min)

​

• Showcase student work with parents and other children. (5-10 min)

​

• 4 week Program held on Tuesday: 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24

​

• Student Price $95. “A portion of each registration is donated to St. Dominic’s School”

​

• Program begins immediately after school and runs 2:30pm-3:30 pm. Parents are required to pick up their child(ren) in their classroom promptly at 3:30 pm. 

​

• STEMbotics may select up to 3 parent volunteers per session depending on the level of student enrollment. Each selected parent volunteer will receive reimbursement of tuition for one student. Parent volunteers must be able to commit to attend all classes in the session including Virtus “Protecting God's Children” certified. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please let us know.
