STEMbotics Birthday Package

Service Description

STEMbotics will come to your house and prepare an experience that your child will remember for years to come. Your Junior Engineer and fellow partygoers, up to 10 children, will have a blast building and programming various vehicles, animals, robots and structures using LEGO Education bricks, motors, gears, sensors and Engineering Software. They will learn the basics of programming and develop the concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and apply them into real world examples. Requirements • An open area, not thick rug, where the projects can be built and run on the floor. • Instructors will arrive 20 minutes before the start of the party to setup and require 20 minutes after the party to cleanup. • A parent or adult guardian must be present at all times. • Children with special needs must have a parent guardian present at all times. • Any child acting wild, disrespectful, or fighting will be excluded from the event. • A certificate of Liability Insurance is available on demand. • Photos will be taken by the instructor to be shared with parents as well as used for STEMbotics marketing. Photo waivers will be issued prior to the event. • Party locations can be within Monmouth or Ocean County, NJ. Any event booked outside Monmouth or Ocean County, NJ will incur an additional travel fee of $50. What's Included • Onsite STEMbotics Birthday party for up to 10 children. $5 for each additional child up to 15 children total. • Up to 3 projects can be selected from our 3 themes (CITYbotics, ANIMALbotics, SPACEbotics) • All robotics kits and iPads will be provided by the instructor. Curriculum • Each child will be paired in groups of 2. Each group will be given a Robotics Kit and Tablet. • The instructor will explain the guided projects through the Lego Software with both build steps and programing. • Once the team has successfully built and programed their robot, they will automate their robots wirelessly via Bluetooth Technology. • Each project will follow the required steps: • Learn (5 min) • Build (15-30 min) • Code (10-25 min) • Run (15-30 min)
